More direct access to sections of Neil Mattingly’s historical archive has been added under the “Archive” tab.

October 26th in the village hall

The Charmouth Local History Society is supporting the Heritage Coast Centre weekend of celebrations for its 40^th Anniversary. Being held on 26^th/27^th October.

On 26^th October we will be offering refreshments at the Village Hall in Wesley Close from 10am to 2pm, an exhibition displaying archive photographs of the beach and the old factory building, and a video showing the history of the Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre.

The “Charmouth – 100 Years ago” is available in NISA and Morgans in Charmouth at £7.99. It is also available from the Charmouth Local History Society.
