Opening Times 

Please contact us to discuss visiting arrangements or to arrange an appointment; Neil Mattingly is available on 07961 451379. During the summer we normally hold an exhibition when the Pavey Room will be open regularly and we will publish these times at this time of the year. Please come along and enjoy your visit, you will be very welcome.


The Pavey Room is in The Elms (which also houses Charmouth Parish Council) close to the church on the main street (called The Street). The address is:

There is limited parking on The Street outside (the higher of the two markers on the map) or in the nearby car park in St Andrew’s Drive (the lower of the two markers on the map).

Coming by bus:

  • X53  from the west: Sidford, Seaton, Rousdon, and Lyme Regis: from the east: Bridport, Burton Bradstock, Abbotsbury and Weymouth.
  • X31 from the west Axminster and Lyme Regis: from the east Bridport, Winterbourne Abbas, Martinstown, Dorchester.
