Opening Times 

Currently we plan to be open 2-4pm on Mondays (when the summer exhibition will still be on display and there should be a committee member present). Please contact us to discuss visiting arrangements or to arrange a visit at another time..


The Pavey Room is in The Elms (which also houses Charmouth Parish Council) close to the church on the main street (called The Street). The address is:

There is limited parking on The Street outside (top marker on the map), or on the nearby car park in St Andrews Drive (lower right marker on the map).

Coming by bus:

  • X53  from the west: Sidford, Seaton, Rousdon, and Lyme Regis: from the east: Bridport, Burton Bradstock, Abbotsbury and Weymouth.
  • X31 from the west Axminster and Lyme Regis: from the east Bridport, Winterbourne Abbas, Martinstown, Dorchester.

The buses stop on The Street close by – ask for Charmouth Church. More details.
